What is the name of this arcade game?

I remember playing a bike arcade game where the arcade machine involved a big screen and a bike to sit on and play through. It was a bike race which happened in a futuristic scenario on different planets where one gets to bash their opponents by weapons and such. Also, revving the accelerator twice in a succession would send one into a nitro boost kind of frenzy. There used to be a time limit which used to get replenished every time one passes a checkpoint. Once the time would run out, the player would get off the bike, pick it up and smash it on the ground pretty hard. I guess there were jumps involved.
