I want my skin to drown!

-My skin is really so tolerant so I don't mind if it makes me break out.

I had mentioned shea butter before but if there is something more stellar, post it!

i think aquaphor is the greatest, thickest thing around. it doesn't even make me break out. it's what is often suggested for burns and for babies because its super mosturizing and non-irritating.

Aquaphor contains mineral oil, which is not a recommended ingredient in cosmetic and personal care products.

Mineral oil is a clear, liquid oil with no scent and will not spoil. It is produced as a byproduct of the distillation of gasoline from crude oil, so it is a petroleum by-product. Mineral oil is leftover liquid, and because it is abundant, it is very inexpensive.

The problem is that mineral oil is foreign to the human body and has many harmful effects, especially in infants. Some of the effects of mineral oil may be a little surprising.

Mineral oil acts as a thin layer on the skin. It is difficult to absorb and clogs the pores, which slows the skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. As well, it slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Manufacturers use petroleum because it is unbelievably cheap.

I suggest that if it is for your body you might use eucerin, and if it is for your face to go to Macy's or any high end retail store that has cometics, and go to clinique. They can look at your skin, and tell you what type you are and what moisturizer is best. It is a little more expensive, and very worth it.

Good Luck,

Kassandra
