What is the most important historical event in recorded history? Why is it

the most important event? History is full of moments where historians state that "this was the most important thing to ever happen" or "this was the pivotal point in history", etc. I remember in 7th grade history, my teacher impressed the importance of the Battle of Tours on us, and this has made me wonder over the years as to the question above.

(This is based on personal opinion, but please, no events that have transpired since 1950. I am more interested in pre-20th century history.)
 
Rise of Rome, invention of writing in Sumer, invention of guns, invention of nukes, Protestant Reformation
there's a lot of things that could be considered the most important, so hard to tell

mostly because of technological advances or something related to war, lol
