What is the most fast and efficient way of learning PHP and SQL?

I want to eventually create my own website. I understand the whole buy a domain name and hosting provider. I know html and basic web developing skills..

I want to expand my knowledge in order to make dynamic websites or like a social networking site. I have the time and the effort. Just was wondering the best way and most effective way to learn PHP and SQL or anything else I need to learn.

CSS and Javascript should also be on your list.
It's very rare that one person alone handles a site like that, there's just too much to learn and know. Unless your brain is like a computer.
You may need to get help from gurus who specialize in certain aspects of running and maintaining a site like that.
