Okay, so first consider that there are lots of relationship-related questions in here that are equally reflected on the straight side. How do I tell her I like her? How soon should we move in? etc etc.
The big difference between gay/bi/trans versus straight people is that, regardless of whether they are bothered by it or not, the former group always have to face declaring who they are to the world. Straight people rarely if ever have to 'come out' as straight, but the other groups usually, at some point, tell their friends/family/potential partners etc.
That in itself raises lots of questions for the individual. When's the right time? Should I tell my homophobic acquaintances? How do I word it? How will people react, what will be the consequences for me personally and those around me? It's such a huge thing to face. To the casual onlooker, being gay might not seem like a big deal, but when it's you who has to face up to coming out, it can be a very scary thing.
Furthermore, there are then the reverse questions from those on the other side: the friends and families who maybe suspect or don't know how to react to their loved one being gay.
Then there's discussion of a political nature: "should gay marriage be allowed?" and so on.
Then there's the whole "how do I tell if he/she is gay?" type questions for those of us who are trying to figure out if we've found a potential match.
And, of course, the beloved trolls who like to inform us of the disgusting sinners that we are
So even if being gay doesn't seem to you to be a particularly big deal, there are still loads of questions that people will always want to ask about gay lifestyle. It doesn't have to be relating to homophobia (though that is still rife among many societies!)
