Its hard to be sure without a thorough analysis, nevertheless, some of arrogant nations today are - in randomly order :
- KSA: Arabs with oil.
- Israel: Few number with a lot of money and tanks.
- USA: The so called " The most powerful country in the world " or the world's policeman, specially after the vanish of USRR.
Which let's one remember that the less humble a nation is the closer it to vanish!

Probably the Japanese.
They consider their nation, one of the last "pure" races on this earth. They see America and Europe and all the diversity here as bastardizing the majority race and culture. The Japanese people think that nobody but the Japanese are able to speak their language? I know, it sounds weird, but it's true. Also, they are under some false impression that the English language and the Chinese language are more similar to eachother than Japanese and Chinese....apparently, this notion fits nicely with their belief that their language is the most beautiful and unique in the world....they're government tells them this, so their ignorance is honest!

In all my travels worldwide there is no one country. Some may say the French but trust me the French have a LOT to be proud of lol.

I'd have to say South Koreans. Some of the their history textbooks say that their "civilization" is older than the Egyptians and Mesopotamians, and that they've invented everything from the wheel to the periodic table of elements. They're all idiots, in my opinion.
