We can define the following..:
momentum = mass (in kg) * velocity (in m/s)

We know that 144g = 0.144kg

Thus,
momentum = (0.144) * (+44)
momentum = 6.336 = ~6.34kg * (m/s)

Momentum is the product of mass and velocity, therefore,

144g(.044) = 6.34

C is the correct answer. This is like 5th grade stuff.
