What is the max number of fish I can keep?

First I'm wondering if it would be ok to keep 3 silver dollars and two blood parrots in a 55 gallon tank?
Second I was wondering if any one knows a really colourful fish that isn't a livebearer because I already have some in another tank. It must be able to live with glowlight tetras and danios and not be too hard to take care of. I will keep it in a hundred gallon any suggestions greatly appricated!
 
To answer your first question, yes, they are compatible and i believe a 55 gallon should be enough. I wouldn't go smaller than 55g and i wouldn't stock any more large fish with them. Maybe a school of tetra and a few cory cats to go along.

Secondly, i really like gourami's and they go great with your existing fish. I wouldn't stock a Beta. MAYBE a female but a male beta will show aggression towards any other "flashy" or colorful fish.
