What is the lifestyle of a NEOLITHIC MAN?

Neolithic people in different areas were different, just like people are different today.

There are a few things most neolithic people had in common.

- Most had begun to settle in villages
- Neolithic people divided labour based on gender: women gathered the harvest, made containers and pottery. Men hunted away from the village, made copper tools and weapons.
- Neolithic people periodically went to war with their neighbours. Although no "countries" emerged, certainly certain tribes and areas became aligned in mutual defense.
- Neolithic people in northern areas wore sophisticated clothing and sandals, sewn with fine copper needles.
- Neolithic people made fishhooks and nets, and fished prodigiously.
- Neolithic people cleared forests with copper axes in order to plant fields.
