I'm fine with violence and sex on TV and in movies, etc. I find it disturbing what it says about us as a culture, but I wouldn't restrict the access of it in any way by adults.
However I'm a bit irritated that Americans seem not to police what their own children view. I know parents with young children in the house who don't take the slightest effort to block adult TV channels or internet sites. Irresponsible.
