I was pulled over for no headlights, which I dispute..Anyway I had a bottle of Vicodin that was not in a labeled bottle. Original bottle got wet, the officer searched my purse & car without my permission after convincing me to exit the vehicle because he needed to get the vin number on the side door. I have since been to court twice and have a copy of the original prescription from the dentist. I keep getting a continuance. I asked the lawyer what's the problem. He says they are testing the pills and that even though I have provided a copy of the original prescription that I can still be charged for placing the pills in an unmarked bottle? Is this true? What's the law? I searched online & can't get a clear understanding..

Yes it is true. I have to take injections daily. They come in big boxes. So when I travel, I have to carry them in a bag with a copy of the original Rx. If the bottle got wet, you should get a printout from the pharmacy.

It's possible, but that is a B.S charge because you claim to have had proof that it was issued as a prescription from your doctor. Vicodin is widely abused.
