What is the function of the auto gear selectors S and B in my Toyota Axio 2007?

My earlier car had an option 'OD (over drive)' in its gear selector. But the Toyota Axio 2007 that I've bought doesnt have anything like that. Instead, it has two new modes 'B' and 'S'. What are the functions of those two modes. What is the match between the two versions of gear selectors (earlier one had 'P R N D L 2 and OD button', new one has 'P R N D S B')?
