What is the fine if you are caught fishing without a permit or license?

Im wondering if its worth buying a fishing license or if i should just risk having to pay the fine. Im going camping with some friends in Kentucky and am wondering in Kentucky what the fine is (or in general if its around the same). Any help will get best answered and be much appreciated thanks.
 
In Texas, doesn't it get like UP TO 400~ dollars?

I read the thing a year or 2 back...

It's insane. It is NOT worth it unless you're somewhere excluded or on private property.

I had to get mine, the day I got it - game warden paid me a visit.
I think they also call him the Bird and Turtle man.
