what is the different between the user experience specialist and usability specialist ?

so i am a product specialist for a company that offers a web service for building safety inspectors, and i am trying to sharpen my direction in terms of what i really want to be doing. unfortunately based on the research i've done - there seems to be a bit of confusion when it comes to the user experience specialist and the usability specialist. it is suggested that these 2 roles are completely different but seem to be used interchangably, depending on the position to be filled by the employer.

can they truly be used alternatively to explain the same role ? additionally, i see "Information Architect" thrown in as well. could someone explain to me what exactly that means and under which position would that really fall under ? right now i am thinking about going back to school to acquire a BA in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI for short), but before fully deciding to do so, under which role would that best be suited for, if there is such a difference between these 2 roles.

thanks..
