What is the difference between the Mazda 3 2005 and the Mazda 3 2008?

Features, the car itself...anything. I'm buying a mazda 3 2008 (manual transmission), however I was originally looking at a 2005. the 2008 was a better deal money wise, though, and my brother says theyre the exact same....but i think they look different. Soooo....just wondering what exactly ARE the differences between the two? Thank you :)
