what is the difference between photo paper prints and canvass?

I was wondering what is the difference between the two because I want to purchase a painting on this website http://www.saatchionline.com/ and they show the paper prints cheaper than the canvass prints (the originals are WAY out of my league) so I was wondering what is the difference and which one would be better in the long run. Canvass is more heavyduty. It also last longer then photo paper. Also canvas will not fade has quick.
Its really up to you though With canvas it usually painted on. paint or oil last a long time. Usually
longer then any other paints. It could be you rqn into those and that is why the painting was high.
Look for the starving artists, It a gettogather that happens once a year.
