What is the difference between culture and race?

I'm trying to prove to someone that white people are not more likely to commit suicide due to their race (which i'm assuming is the skin color) but anyone would be more likely to commit suicide due to culture they live.

race is skin color and ancestry. culture is what you associate with willingly. ie: friends music religion, beliefs etc. you can't change the first one. yet.

Race is your ethnicity, as in skin color, and facial features, ect. Culture is like, the types of food you eat, music you listen to, language you speak, envioronment your braught into, ect.
