Woofer and Subwoofer are the same thing...

"Amp" Stands for Amplifier. And amplifier "Amplifies" a signal.

jajja first you have the radio, it send the sound to a amp, the amp will amplify the sound so the subwoofer, woofer, or a speaker could sound loud.
The speakers makes high sounds, the woofers makes mid-bass sounds, and the subwoofer make the lowest sounds of all

CHRIS!!!!
NO THEY ARE NOT! Shame!
Chris is wrong
AN amplififier first and formost is what is used to take current from the car battery and transform it into a bigger/ amplifier current then sending it out to the speakers/subs ect
A Woofer is typically a midrange speaker, its bigger than a tweeter these are typically 3" 4" 5 1/4" or 6 1/2"

a subwoofer is beacuse it plays lower than the range of the woofer "that booming bass" as well as lower than the human ear can hear "the bass you can feel"
an amplifier is used to power both of these though typically a d class amp is used for a sub and an a/b class amp is used for a set of speakers

woofer // a dog :-p
subwoofer // under a dog
amp // bigger dog

kidding a tweeter is the speaker that pushes out treble
a sub is a bigger speaker that pushes out bass
an amp amplifies the amount of current sent to the speakers (bigger better speakers usually take more power).
