what is the difference between a lexus 99 GS 400 and a 2001-02?

I cant really afford the newer ones so Id like to know the real difference as they look the same.
 
small engine alterations...user upgrades, detail upgrades, better gas mileage, bigger gas tank. they dont look much different, but if you want, you can google the engine specs on the 99, and then go to lexus.com and look at the new specs, and compare.
