professor!? my argument-> reservoir is where a pathogen is naturally found. Influenza is always in duck poo

Carrier -> an organism that carries a pathogenic (or non pathogenic) strain and transmits it to others. I cough the influenza virion on someone else and they get it
I also meant to add under carrier that the pathogen is not naturally found amongst all species of that organism
