I am trying to write a paper on a Philip K Dick novel, and existentialism was a huge concept that greatly influenced his work. However, when researching this, I have found very little about it, and now I have to dig into Existentialism. I would appreciate any help if someone could explain what Existentialist believed concerning freedom, and as it's opposite, captivity. I know there are lots of Existentialist thought pertaining to freedom, but if anyone could direct me to an article about freedom AND captivity, I would appreciate it. Ten Points to best answer!
