i've been studying up on these interesting things.
I've learned that a wormhole would require "exotic matter"(like a negative gravity type thing) to stay open. How will scientists find this and what exactly will it be? In other words, what is another type of matter going to look like?

Theoretically, Wormholes are portals through time and space.
*Note: Theoretically (nobody has actually been able to prove this, of course)

You are going to have to wait another fifty years for even a speck reasonable information to arise about wormholes.

You have obviously been reading a Sci-Fi book.

Exotic matter is not indicative of negative gravity, which is not a rational concept. Exotic matter just means matter which is not made of the typical proton, neutron, electron mix. And all exotic matter decays in billionths of a second, so it could not be used.

Try reading a REAL science book.
