My mother in law loves to ridicule me. She does it in a sneaky way. More than half the things she says to me she would not dare to say in front of her son. My mother recently gave me a bunch of my grandmothers antiques and jewerly and my mother in law had the balls to ask for them. She lives with her daughter who has big issues. It is them and her three kids. She basically babysits her kids all day. If my husband or I ask for help she gets cranky with us and she never watches our kids. Whenever we buy something she goes out and buys one for her daughter. (the EXACT same things) She constantly tells me what I'm doing wrong with raising my kids. She is forever asking me for things that are sentimental to me and if I do try to stand my ground she starts the pitty party and she gets offended. I recently gave them something dear to me a dining room set out of guilt becuase they badgered me daily for it and they both owe me money and needles to say I'm pissed now. How do I deal with this??
