what is the danger of having titanium screw that has gone into the lurabar disc nerve sac that is from surgery
 
Why are you asking? Do youo have a screw that you feel has shifted? The docs are awfully careful when they insert those screws and I have never heard of one totally missing the mark. I suppose that there is always the chance but I would think it would be very slim.
 
This actually happened to me. My surgeon (a different one than the one who had bad aim) is debating whether or not to remove it now.

The risk, however, is very small as mentioned and I wouldn't avoid having a fusion because this is a possible risk.
