I picked The Aardvark is Ready for War up on a whim a while ago, (I thought it would be a fun little cyberpunk novel, boy was I wrong) and I stopped reading it halfway through when the transvestite(?) started talking about dead white males. I'm pretty shallow with my reading habits and prefer a good story to a philosophical presentation, but I keep thinking about going back and reading it again, I'm just curious, does the main character die at the end? I can't think of anything else it could be counting down to, but I'm not a military type either.
