I have a honda 50cc dirt bike and want to know what the choke lever is used for , ex. when to pull it up, what it does , should i ride with it up... i dont anything about it and i dont want to mess anything up.
It is used for starting when engine is cold. Start it, run it for 30 seconds or so, turn it off. Worse case, if you leave it on too long, you foul the spark plug. No serious engine damage.
