What is the 'choke' on a mini dirt bike?

It is either a lever inside the casing on the bike on the left hand side which just flips up, or the button. The choke helps the engine run whilst being 'warmed up' you can tell if the choke is on because when kick started the bike will sound as if it has gone hollow.

Most of the time it is on the side of the carb, and then again it might be on the handle bar.
Follow the cable and see were it leads to. The choke forces the engine to run "rich" more fuel until it warms up , then you open the choke so the engine will run at the right air ,gas mixture, this is called lean

It is usually something you pull out the button which closes up your carburetor to get more fuel to start you bike easily which you slowly push closed when your bike warms up.
