My truck overheated but the radiator was cool. I changed the thermostat but it still didn't hold down the temp after 15-20 minutes of running. & again gauge went up but rad. was still cool. Went to change the pump and old pump looks to be good after removing.
The radiator did in fact boil over. We are thinking now that it may have been to low on coolant to get any flow. Maybe???
