trying to find out what standard the burden of proof is in Minnesota. Is it preponderance of the evidence, clear and convincing?? Been trying to find out on the Internet and cannot find.
No burden of proof required beyond the word of the police officer who wrote the ticket. If he says you're speeding, then it's up to you to convince the Judge that you were not. Try that sometime!
