what is the book UGLY by CONSTANCE BRISCOE about and how many pages does it have?
 
Constance's mother systematically abused her daughter, both physically and emotionally, throughout her childhood. Regularly beaten and starved, the girl was so desperate she took herself off to Social Services and tried to get taken into care. This book presents her heartrending - and ultimately triumphant - story.

it is a beautiful story about a young girl who was brought up by an abusive mother, neglected at a young age and abused by her mothers boy friend. the struggles of her trying to become a lawyer but her mother trying to stop her and her over come the abuse and achieving her goals. its a beautiful story....
 
Its about the authors childhood and how she was abused and beaten by her mother and stepfather. Not sure how many pages but its an excellent book you should read it.
