What is the biggest tire I can fit nicely onto a 2000 V6 Ford Mustang?

I am thinking about getting new wheels/tires for my car and am just wondering what the biggest size tire I can get that will fit nicely on a 2000 V6 Mustang - does anyone have any ideas?!? please specify tire sizes so that I can compare w/ whats on my car now. Thanks!!

Depends what size wheel you have on the car now. The 2000 V6 came with 15 and 16 inch wheels. Do you plan on changing to a bigger wheel? if so you can probably go up to an 18 or 19 inch rim. My car is lowered (an 01 v6) and i have a 17 inch wheel on it.
