i have an 86 blazer that has been in the family since i was one, i had to rebuild the fuel system and about a third of the carbs, i want to put a new engine in it, a BIG engine, i can only fit a small block in the cavity, how big can i go?

i go 350 with high end shafts save big bucks on computer and sensors wiring and pumping it's not a 72 and back there easy to change over you got all the new wiring

In 86 they had both an S-10 Blazer, and a Full size Blazer. Which is it? The full size will fit a freakin' whole other car. (not really joking I'm pretty sure a mini would fit in the engine bay) The S-10 is common for the SB or LS chevy swap, which can equal 483+ cubes if you use an LS motor. (usually around 434 is the max with a SB) I have still seen the odd BB chevy shoehorned into an S-10, so at least 572 cubes. It all depends on how much money and expertise you have.
