Civil liberties and the fact that they have taken a trouncing since 9/11. We need to do some serious repair work. We've handed over too much control in the name of "safety" and "security".
Oh, and we need to do something about the status of those people at Guantanamo. Keeping them detained there and refusing to call them either POWs or bring formal charges against them is crap. If we do either one, then we have to follow a set way to deal with them. Instead, the Bush Administration is stonewalling and making them people in limbo. We need to either abide by the Geneva Conventions, or by our own Constitution and then treat them accordingly.
