what is the biggest hemi you can put in a 47 dodge pickup?

there's enough room in that one to mount a 426 in it which is the old hemi from the past,the one we all like and wish we had back,but theres plenty of room in that truck ,i got a friend thats restoring a 50 model and he,s using a 426 in it,theres more than enough room for that engine in that truck,his isnt much different than yours is,good luck.
 
how much money do you have? a truck like that can accomodate or be modified to accept whatever you want 632's,737's considering hemispherical heads are used on most high end drag motors its just up to your wallet.

true hemispherical design is nothing more than the shape of the combustion chamber. and is a pre-mopar design used on many many motors. google is your friend the history of the hemi is easily found
