Im looking into getting a new cell phone on AT&T. Right now I have a iPhone 3gs 32gb and i do like the phone but my mom really wants this phone so i told her id give it to her and upgrade mine so now I was thinking about getting the iPhone 4, but the Samsung Captivate has caught my eye. I really want to know which is better for the things i use the phone for.
I listen to music a lot on my current iPhone and want to be able to add and transfer songs easily like i can now. Can i still use iTunes with the Captivate or is there some other way to easily transfer my iTunes music to the Captivate? I also do a lot of email, web searching, and play a lot of games on my iPhone now. Also memory is a big deal for me. My 32gb phone is starting to get a bit full with movies and music so can the Samsung be upgraded to hold more then 32GB or now? Battery life is another thing im interested in. My current iPhone could be a bit better in that area so is the new iPhones battery better or not? What is the battery like in the Samsung? I text a lot so is there any real difference in this area of the two phones and i do a lot of social networking so is there any difference in that either?
I really don't know anything about the android os so id like to know what i can get with that, that i cant get from my jailbroken iPhone and over all i would just like to know the pros and cons of both phones so i buy the right phone for me.
Thank you for all your help.
I read that AT&T doesnt allow certain android apps of somesort like other companies do so is this a deal breaker for an android phone on at&t?
