I want to learn to play the guitar because I want to add sound to the songs I write. I don't have the money for a teacher or a school. I was wondering if the $100-300 guitar packs work. The ones with the guitar, picks, strings, case, small speaker, strap, and the cd and or book. Do those kits really work. If they do, can I go off of what I learn to write songs or I'm I stuck playing already written kiddie songs? No one I know plays the guitar. What is the best guitar to get for a beginner? What cds or books work for you? What is a good price for a real beginner's guitar? Please help, I really want to learn to play.
