What is the best way to train for marine boot camp? what are the final physical requirements?

You should have PT at least once a week. Mine is on thursday also. Get you in better physical shape, learn marine knowledge (which you need in boot camp or you will get more PT), and learn drill.

and i couldnt tell you the name but it's called the Major's Pushup Challege or some damn thing. They have a pullup one too. It works.

talk to your recruiter.

but PT and then some more PT and then a touch more PT is what you need. lol

good luck

Some recruting offices have programs were all the pooles gather 1,2,3 times a week depending on your station, and they PT together, if not train by yourself. the minimum you have to do to begin boot camp is 2 pull ups, or chin ups, doesnt matter which, 45 crunches in 2 minutes and run 1.5 miles like in 13 minutes( dont remember the time , might be 15 minutes) but at least 13 ... if u have a problem making this then you will go to PCP or physical conditioning program where u are stuck in limbo and treated like crap until u meet the minimum requirements.

Good luck

Start running. A lot. Get the cardio going and rest will follow once you get into boot camp. Most of your PT will be tested on a two mile run, push-ups and sit-ups.

You will find that out when you get there.....

In the mean time --- Buy a rifle and learn how to use it..... Get a ham radio operators license and learn how to use a radio......

i go to PT every thursday
we run 3 miles and strive for a total of 150 crunches in two different inter volts
