I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee in which the transmission seems to be going. It does not drive currently, and I'm just looking to unload it for like $750. I've posted on Craig's List and gotten a bunch of spam or rip off attempts. I also listed it in a local classifies news paper, but haven't gotten much of a response.
It is 2 wheel drive, and at a vehicle of this age, with nearly 183,000 miles on it I realize that is a disadvantage, but the body is in good shape, it's got some relatively new parts (radiator and water pump most recently), it has fairly new tires, it is the Country package with a sticker price of like 26,000. I'm the third owner, my dad being the second.
I've already purchased another vehicle, and I'm looking to get something out of the Jeep, just to help offset the down payment I recently had to lay out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
