The previous owners of our house painted the kitchen cabinets white. Now it is peeling in certain spots. What I'd really like to do is strip all the paint, sand down the cabinets (they're that 70's dark oak color), re-stain them a cherry color and replace the doors. Is this even possible? What's the best way to take the paint off?
