what is the best way to learn English writing?

I'm currently study at university to be English teacher.
I got a bad mark in my writing class, but I got good mark in grammar.
(English is not my first language)

What should I do to be good in writing? beside learning grammar

And.., is there any suggestion dealing with my future career?
 
I'm an ESL student and am very interested in essay writing. I took essay writing classes for several months. At that time, what was difficult to me was how to organize my writing. Even though I've been developing organization skills, it is still difficult for me to overcome. English essay writing has so many writing patterns in relation to the organization of writing. It's my story, and I tell it to you because you might have the same problem.
