What is the best way to enter the Media industry?

I am currently a Project Manager and Line Manager in Online Gaming in London and would need help and advise. I had a company "redo" my CV but can't seem to get any calls or emails back despite my good will and good background. I so want to enter this industry!!!

I think I'm more looking into joining an agency but don't really know what attracts them in a CV or applicant profile.
 
Agencies are not very good, very few companies use them. Its a very difficult industry to get into and generally the only way is to work your way up. I would suggest playing on the skills you have from your gaming experience. I'm sure there will be some transferable skills, particularly the project managing. You could try multimedia companies which would use your gaming skills but also offer scope for gaining skills and experience in other areas.
