I will be road tripping in my station wagon this summer and my route takes me through the south. I cant stand sleeping in the heat, so I am trying to rig up an a/c unit that can run while I'm pulled over without killing the battery or keeping the car on. I was thinking a portable a/c unit hooked up to a generator, but was curious about other people's advice. Any suggestions?
