What is the best way to cook a chicken on limited time? Can I cook it fully

Wed & reheat it for Thur? I am having guests at 7 on Thursday, I won't be home till about 5, so if I fully cook the chicken Wed (it is for 12 people) will it taste ok if I then pop it in the oven to reheat for Thur?
