what is the best verizon phone to get?

my contract is about to be over soon and i will need to activate a new account with verizon. which free phone would you recommend? I want something that is hackable, and has access to free wap like yahoo.com. my current phone is a e815, so i want something better than it.

what about thse phones with a keyboard?
 
Well, first off you said free phone that is better than the e815. If that were the case, I would say none of them. Without really knowing where you are going to get your phone the only free phones I see on the website in my area are the a630, and pn-215. The 6236 is 10 bucks which is a pretty good deal. Qwerty keyboards are nice, but I don't know where you are going to get a phone with one for free. Are you planning on shopping at Amazon?
 
my contract should expire in a month i believe. i plan on getting the phone at a local store. This guy that used to work under my aunt owns the store and hopefully he can hook it up with some nicer phones. the kool thing is he does new activations for both verizon and cingular so i still have some choices. the phone i want doesnt have to be totally free, but if i can pay 50 or so for a nice smartphone . i don't see why not.
