I can't afford a brand new car note + insurance. So I want to buy a certified used vehicle and I plan to pay for all or most of it upfront. My question is, what kind of car is the best kind of used car to buy? I need one that is roomy for the legs (I am tall), excellent safety specs and has good gas mileage. I was thinking maybe a Toyota Camry or similar. My bf and I rented one this past summer. We drove 300 miles away to and fro (so that's 600 miles) and we didn't even use half a tank! Totally awesome with the fluctuating gas prices.
