i have this dog i really want to cook. should i cook him live, like a lobster, or should i kill him first? and what is the best method to cook a dog. He is a 46 pound viszla. please only reply with serious answers. i realize the nature of this question might strike some of the more conservative readers as absurd.
I would like to thank the first contributor for their advice on cooking the dog at hell-fire temperatures. Naturally, I broiled him for 15 minutes and am currently enjoying him with asparagus and a glass of merlot.

you're damn right. go and get a chinese cook book.

In the US it is illegal to kill and eat dogs. You will get arrested if caught. However, dogs are eaten in other countries. They are not boiled live like lobsters and they are slaughtered first and then butchered. They are usually roasted.

Have you read the new Chinese cookbook that just came out? It may be of some help to you. Its called "101 Ways to Wok a Dog".

I cooked and ate a dog once, but I couldn't really enjoy it because all I could think of while eating its leg was, "Old Duke sure would have liked this bone."

Conservative readers? I wish you could see what my REAL ANSWER would have been, I erased it, but imaginatively, it made me feel better
