If you go early spring you can do real well, especially when the water begins to warm up in late April depending on where you're fishing. During the spring months you'll find the bass spawning and this is one of the best times to catch a big bass! If you go in mid to late summer you'll find that the fishing can be tougher, as the fish might go deeper due to warmer waters. In the fall, you can find good fishing as well, but the winter is very challenging, especially on muddy water lakes. Try to catch the fish before they spawn in the April to May range and you'll do well.
