This is a little bit of a joke as well as a riddle.
Sarah(or Mary or John or anyone you want to use) lives on the 12th floor on an apartment. She can go down okay, but when she comes back from work or anything and has to go up, she has to take the stairs unless someone is with her, or it was raining outside. Why? Hint: It's not because she likes it or that it's a rule or something.
Answer: She's too short to reach the 12 button! Someone has to push it for her, or if it was raining outside, she would have brought an umbrella. She would push the button with the umbrella.
