I have to do a 5-page paper for my cinema class, comparing any pre-Shakespeare play to any movie. First page a summary of the movie, 2nd page a summary of the play, and the other 3 pages comparing/contrasting.
Can anyone suggest a pre-Shakespeare play that isn't too hard to understand and short? And what would be a good movie to compare it to, as far as themes, character development, etc go?
