what is the best place to go camping in southern illinois?

i want to go tent camping near water so i can fish. but in a wooded area that allows camp fires. also i'd like a place where the campsites are not too close together. i live in carbondale but i dont think that i want to go to crab orchard. unless someone can tell me something really good about it.
